An education built on the Word of God.
Our main purpose is to help Christian parents train their children by providing quality academics and consistent character training in a supportive environment.
Twenty years of Westside Baptist Academy.
This school year is the Academy's twentieth. Two decades of families who chose to have their children taught, corrected and prayed for by people who share their convictions — and of graduates who left here able to think clearly and give a reason for what they believe.
We are grateful, and we are still enrolling.

Family resourcesWhat We Believe
We are a ministry of Westside Baptist Church, and our convictions shape every classroom on this campus.
Our positionA small school that knows your child by name.
Westside Baptist Academy opened in 2007 as a ministry of Westside Baptist Church. What has not changed since is the reason we exist: to come alongside Christian parents rather than replace them.
- Christ-centered instructionScripture is not a subject added to the schedule. It is the framework every subject is taught in — reinforced by corporate worship and preaching each week.
- Low student-to-teacher ratiosTeachers know each student's strengths, gaps and character — and so do their parents. Our faculty are here because they believe in the work, not because it was the job available.
- Rigorous academicsA college-preparatory curriculum that graduates students ready for what comes next, with annual achievement testing to keep it honest and measurable.
- Consistent character trainingExpectations are clear, applied evenly, and reinforced by the same adults every day.
- A full fine arts programChoir, orchestra, ensembles and art — taught, not treated as an afterthought.
Our program is designed so that students will…
- Search the Scriptures daily.
- Think, be independent, work and read.
- Understand and know fundamental academics.
- Develop mentally, physically, and spiritually.
- Exercise biblical masculinity and femininity.
- Nurture in and act upon Scriptural principles.
- Treat one another with love, loyalty, honesty, and wisdom.
- Share the Gospel in the community and show Christlikeness.
The school day
| Doors open / school begins | 7:45 AM |
|---|---|
| Elementary dismissal (K5–5) | 3:05 PM |
| Secondary dismissal (6–12) | 3:15 PM |
| Office hours | Monday–Friday, 7:35 AM – 3:30 PM |
The school and the church are not separate things.
The Academy meets on the church campus, under the authority of the same pastor and the same doctrinal position. Families are not required to be members, but they should know clearly what we teach and why.
