If school closes
When school closes for weather or another emergency, check in this order:
- Email and text through Schoolcast
- The school Facebook page and this website
- Your child's teacher
- Mr. Horn, (832) 294-1921 — only after the first three
Reports and conferences
Weekly folders go home showing progress. Progress reports come four and a half weeks into each nine weeks; report cards at the end of each nine weeks. Both must be signed and returned the next day.
The parent–teacher conference after the first nine weeks is required for all parents — that is when the report card is picked up.
Talking to a teacher
Schedule conferences through the office, in advance. Teachers cannot discuss concerns while classes are in session, while on parking lot duty, or at church service times.
Lunch
Students bring their own lunches. If a student arrives without one, the school provides a lunch and charges it to the family account. Microwaves and refrigerators are not available to students.
Parents are welcome to eat lunch with their child and may bring outside food when they do.
Dress code
Uniform items come from the French Toast website, using the stock numbers posted by the school. Shirts are white, grey or burgundy.
