What a Westside Baptist Academy education costs, and how payment works.
Tuition, 2026–2027
Tuition is paid in ten monthly payments. Families with more than one child enrolled pay a reduced rate for each additional child.
K5 through 5th Grade

How payment works
Ten monthly payments, due on the 15th of each month, beginning August 15 with the final payment due May 15.
Payments may be sent by Zelle to wbabillpay@mywestside.org, or brought or mailed to the school office.
Requests for special payment arrangements must be submitted in writing. Any arrangement agreed to is signed by both the administration and the parents.

The Application & Enrollment Fee is non-refundable. Students apply or re-apply each year. If the school cancels a student's reservation after the application has been processed, all but $140 of it is refunded.
Books and supplies are not included in tuition. They are purchased separately from BJU Press or The Homeschool Store, using the book and material list for your child's grade.
Fundraising
All students take part in the Academy's one major fundraiser each year.
Late payments

All accounts must be current as of May 15. It is school policy to ask parents to withdraw their students if the account is not current on that date.
While an account is delinquent the school may hold report cards, transcripts and standardized testing scores — including transcript requests — until it is paid in full.

Private music lessons may be available at a separate cost, paid directly to the instructor. Ask the office.
Physical education uniform (K–12) — the cost of one required uniform shirt is included in the gym fee. Additional shirts are purchased at the start of the year. Culottes for girls must be purchased through the school.
Nominal expenses — electives such as choir, art and ensemble sometimes carry additional fees. Class parties and field trips may have small costs. Athletic programs may require additional fees during a season.
Withdrawal
Parents are responsible for tuition through the current semester of withdrawal or expulsion.
A student is officially withdrawn when a signed written statement is brought in person to the office — emails are not accepted. Notify the office in writing as soon as you know the date.
When records are requested at withdrawal, the account must be paid in full. Allow the office one full week to process the withdrawal form, and one month to issue transcripts to other institutions.
Tax considerations
The school does not provide a contribution report for tuition or fees; these are payments and do not qualify as contributions. Because the Academy is a school and not a day care service, tuition payments do not qualify for the child and dependent care credit.

Why we publish this
Some schools quote tuition only on inquiry. We would rather a family know up front whether the Academy is within reach, instead of investing in a tour and an application to find out at the end. If cost is the only thing standing between your family and this school, call the office and say so.
